Kårstø LNG plant (Gassco/Statoil)
The Statpipe pipeline was completed in 1985 and natural gas was brought onshore for the first time on Norwegian soil. The subsea installations across the 300 meter deep “Norske Renna” was ground breaking. Never before was a 30 inch pipeline installed on this depth. Kårstø LNG plant has been expanded several times. First when the Sleipner field and later when the Åsgard field was connected to the plant. This is the story how it happened. This historically significant book deserved to be neatly organized, well presented and easy to understand – the idea behind every page layout and every chapter in this book. The words shall be easy to read for all ages. A mixture of new and old photos evidently different but presented in the same way. To connect it all, it is presented with balance between photos and text with few, but responsive, colours in all graphic effects.
